Coffeyville never trailed in the game, as the Red Ravens scored the game's first nine points. Butler would pull within four on three separate occasions in the first half, but a key 9-0 run by Coffeyville towards the end of the half helped the Ravens grab a 42-29 halftime lead.
The Red Ravens led by as many as 18 in the second half. Trailing 54-36, Butler would cut the deficit to 10 with an 8-0 run that was capped with a Trent Richardson three-pointer with 13:42 to play.

During the run, Shomari Triggs and Trent Richardson each scored four points, while Larry Fitzgerald added a trey from the corner.
