  • Spring has not yet sprung and winter Is not ready to hand the reins over! Comfortable temperatures in the low 60s are forecast for today and tomorrow. A gradual decline is then expected over the next few days. By Monday, temperatures will be down in the mid40s.  The falling temperatures will be accompanied with a chance of rain/thunderstorms for Friday night through Sunday. A few of the storms on Saturday and Saturday night could contain small hail and gusty winds along and west of the Kansas Turnpike. The overnight low on Sunday night is forecast in the mid 20s and may also bring with it a slight chance of snow!
Southerly winds today are forecast at 15 to 18 mph and gusting to 28 mph. Winds will become south southeast tonight at 10 to 14 mph and gust as high as 20 mph. Friday’s winds will be similar to what we have today and will only decrease slightly over night. Saturday looks to be rather breezy with south winds at 18 to 23 mph and gusting near 32 mph.
