  • SCARF launching capital campaign to build children’s home in Butler County

  • The Sunlight Children’s Advocacy and Rights Foundation (SCARF) is launching the public phase of a $2.5 million capital campaign for the construction of a children’s home in Andover. The Sunshine Children’s Home, which will be built in Andover on land donated by Hope Community Church, will provide placement services to children from Butler, Elk, and Greenwood counties who have been moved from the home.
    The campaign kick-off will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 8, at Hope Community Church, 1831 E. 21st, Andover.
    Attending the launch will be Suzi Thien, SCARF Executive Director; Susan Koslowsky, Emprise Bank Sr. Vice President and Capital Campaign Chair for SCARF; and Mark Conway, Rose Hill Mayor and Board President for SCARF.
