James Michael Ohl, 85, of Augusta, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2013.
A memorial service for family and special friends will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Augusta First Christian Church.
James was born on Nov. 16, 1927, near Manchester, Okla. He graduated from Wakita High School and married Jo Helen Garrett. He served in the United States Air Force, received his Master’s degree from Wichita State University, where he taught a few years before going to Butler County Community College, and then retired in 1994. During part of this time, he also ministered to the Hilltop Community Church in Wichita.
He is survived by his wife and two sons, Mark and Daniel.
