Butler County residents have several free options to learn more about severe weather.

With Severe Weather Awareness Week upon us, Butler County Emergency Management is scheduling Severe Weather Safety and Storm Spotter Training classes around Butler County. All of these classes are open to the public and contain a wealth of severe weather safety information.

Classes will typically last two hours.

Registration is not required, just come on out and enjoy the presentation! If you have a minimum group of 10 people and would like to schedule your own training (we can tailor them to meet your time needs), contact our office at (316) 733-9796.

We would be happy to schedule training with you in the morning, afternoon or evening hours.
