  • In response, to the primary election, John Grange thanked the voters who braved the bad weather to cast their vote.
“I think the decision by Secretary Kobach to extend that days voting period was very helpful in improving voter turnout in light of the weather forecast,” he said.
“I have plans for several ‘meet and greet’ talking and listening events during March,” Grange said of what was next for him. “If requested, I will continue these gatherings during my tenure as a way to keep the voters informed and to hear the comments of how we are doing. I am hopeful some one on one debates will be scheduled so the voters can hear each vision of how a Mayor should conduct himself in the business of the city.”
He encourages anyone who has questions or comments to contact me at any time at home at 321-2087, on his cell at 322-0433, work at 321-6230 or by email at johng@carlisleinc.net.
“As mayor I will provide a written bi-weekly update on our commission actions and I will continue to ask for citizens input and participation,”he said.
