The mayoral primary election will go forward tomorrow as planned.
County Administrator Will Johnson said neither the Secretary of State or Elections Officer can move an election date once it is set.
The county is putting together an emergency preparation plan which they will file with the secretary of state office.
The county also will have crews available to go and do snow removal at voting sites on Tuesday, as well as looking at providing transportation for poll workers if necessary.
"We're encouraging people to get out and do advance voting until noon today," Johnson said. "We will keep the courthouse open tomorrow regardless. Non-essential staff are encouraged to stay home and use a vacation day, but we will have limited staff here in the building as a result of the election."
