To the Gazette and Mr. Bush:
It is nice to see that someone in the News Media understands what is happening in our political arena in the last several years.
There is no doubt that the responders to Obama's campaign speeches, that have clearly been misadvertised as State of the Union Addresses, have been ridiculed and undercut politically as you so well pointed out in your column in The Newton Kansan online on this date. But it hasn't been Obama or his minions who have done that damage; it has been the Political Left in the form of the supposed unbiased News Media. Even the Democrats are admitting today that they have their champion and built in dragon slayers in the mainline national news outlets. They immediately began focusing ad infinitum, not on Rubio's statement, but on his so called "gaffe" in taking a drink of water while delivering it.
I have followed the American political scene for over 70 years and have seen this slide by the media into the abyss of total one sided support for any candidate who is or leans left of center. This is sadly building and will leave, a legacy that will be with the country for another fifty years...or until, like the Soviet Union, it loses it's supporters and finally collapses of it's own shameless political bigotry.
