Floyd D. Lowderman, 66, of Wichita, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013 in McAllen, Texas. He was born Dec. 5, 1946 in Lynnwood, Calif., to Melvin E. Lowderman and Thelma (Tull) Lowderman. He graduated from El Dorado High School with the Class of 1964. He served in the Air Force 13 years and retired from the FAA in 2001. He lived in Wichita and spent the winters in Weslaco, Texas. Surviving family includes: his wife, Ruby of the home; son, Brian Lowderman and wife of Las Vegas; daughter, Charlotte Shaddix of Wichita; mother, Thelma Lowderman of El Dorado; two sisters, Melba Satterfield of Andover and Cheryl Rockhill of Nixa, Mo.; stepbrothers, Robert Lowderman and wife of Wichita and Ronald Raymer and wife of Burlington; granddaughter, Sarah Lowderman of Las Vegas; grandson, Conner Shaddix of Wichita; and several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Lowderman, and nephew, Kevin Satterfield.
Cremation occurred and no services will be held at this time.
