The El Dorado City Commission will be holding two public hearings during their meeting Monday.
They will hold hearings on the extension of Walnut Valley Drive before spreading the special assessments to the property and for the boring of a sewer line in the 100 block of North Summit before spreading special assessments.
In other business, the commission will:
• recognize Lauren Lowry for winning the
League of Kansas Municipality “If I Were Mayor” essay contest.
• decide on distribution of the liquor taxes and court fees.
• consider an application to rezone 3760 SW 20th from residential to heavy industrial.
• consider issuing a temporary note to fund several projects totaling $3,307,250.
They will meet at 7 p.m. at City Hall.
