Even though several of Augusta's top scorers found themselves in foul trouble for a large part of the night, the Orioles still found a way to beat Buhler.

Key role players stepped up in several ways to help lead Augusta's boys basketball team to a 60-48 win.

Brandon Smith scored six first-half points, including two on a putback basket. Caleb Dunn made several key rebounds and scored a jumper from the elbow at the buzzer to end the first half with Augusta ahead 27-22.

Kesten Trebbe buried two 3-pointers early in the third quarter to help the Orioles pull away with a 35-24 lead. Buhler got no closer than seven points the rest of the way.

Trebbe finished with four 3-pointers in all for his 12 points. He also had a couple assists and two steals.

Connor Hurst, who has continued to ascend his game, scored 17 points and had three assists and two steals.
