  • The KWCA #9 ranked El Dorado Wildcats wrestling team took second place at the Concordia duals over the weekend.
    The Wildcats had six dual matches and only lost to Valley Center to earn a second place finish.
    With the results over the weekend, the Wildcats are now 13-1 in duals this season.
    El Dorado started with a 47-21 victory over Beloit.
    El Dorado won its second dual of the tournament with a close 32-27 victory over Smokey Valley.
    The Wildcats then took on host school Concordia and were not gracious guests, beating Concordia 45-18.
    El Dorado followed with a big win over Chapman 51-22.
    The Wildcats only loss of the day came at the hands of Valley Center who beat El Dorado 46-15.
    El Dorado bounced back from the Valley Center defeat to close out Minneapolis 42-30 and to close out the day.
    The Wildcats final home dual is this Thursday as the Wildcats host Winfield at 6:30 p.m.
    “We would like to invite everyone out to our last dual at home this Thursday when we face Winfield. I'd also like to invite anyone who has ever wrestled for El Dorado to come and check us out in our final home action of the season,” said El Dorado head coach Wes Reynolds.
