On our last trip to Spain our kids were introduced to Nutella. Despite the fact that this chocolate hazelnut spread has been available in the United States for years, it never occured to us to purchase a jar for home. One summer morning while preparing for a day of sightseeing in Barcelona we spread Nutella on Spanish graham crackers (Maria cookies) and the kids embraced the treat that would follow us home.

Nutella has become a staple in our kitchen cupboard, nestled next to the peanut butter. After school the kids prepare sandwiches with Nutella and a sliced banana. Remember my recent blog about oatmeal? Try adding a tablespoon of Nutella to your oatmeal bowl...yum!
