El Dorado's boys basketball team didn't miss many shots and played sharply in the first quarter of Tuesday night's game at Hutter Gymnasium. The Wildcats led 25-12 after the first and maintained a solid 39-26 lead at halftime.

Kesten Trebbe didn't miss much in the third quarter for the Orioles. Trebbe buried three 3-pointers, Augusta's scored several fast-break points off turnovers and the Orioles rolled to a 35-7 third quarter to storm back on way to a 85-62 thumping of the Wildcats.

The Orioles' defense forced seven turnovers, outrebounded El Dorado 8-3 and scored five second-chance points as part the third-quarter rally.

After Trevor Crain hit a shot on a pass from Travis House to put the Wildcats ahead 43-36, the Orioles went on a 19-0 run in a matter of a few minutes and never looked back.

Augusta made nine 3-pointers in all and converted four three-point plays. El Dorado hit four 3-pointers.
