Carl Eugene Perry, 62, passed away Monday, Jan. 14, 2013 at his home in Benton. Celebration of his life will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Carlson Funeral Home.
Carl was born Sept. 17, 1950 in Wichita, the son of Keith and Ann (Downing) Joy. He graduated from South High School in Wichita. After school he joined the Army for several years. Carl was a business owner of several restaurants. He was united in marriage to Marsi Clark on June 17, 1998 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He loved to gamble especially the slot machines, going to classic cars shows and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Marsi; children, Colby and husband Scott Mazur of Eugene, Ore., Rachelle and husband Brian Bittle of Manhattan, Kan., David Riddle III of Mesa, Ariz., and Brennen Marshall, Ashley and Mike Hampton all of Benton; mother and father, Keith and Ann Joy of Benton; brother, Jack and wife Connie Perry of Benton; sister, Sharon Barrett of Wichita; and grandchildren, Dayton, Kaitlyn, Cooper, Kaine, Kolsyn, Jaxen, Bella and Tristan.
