Augusta's girls basketball team continues to look for consistency on offense as the Orioles lost Tuesday night's home game to Clearwater 39-20. Clearwater's Bryna Vogel scored 18 points on her own, 12 of which came in the first half. Augusta fell behind early after the Indians started on an 8-0 run. The Orioles started hitting some jumpers in the second quarter, but the Indians put away the game in the third quarter by holding Augusta to two points. Casady Marlnee, Bailey Reichardt and Kalie Robinson all had four points apiece for the Orioles. Brooke Eberhardt had three while Maddy Leedom and Kylie Wesbrooks added two. Taylor Childers had one. Augusta will try to get its first win of the season at Rose Hill Friday night.
