Joseph Lippincott, 57, died Friday Jan. 4, 2013 at his home in El Dorado. Celebration of his life will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Kirby-Morris Funeral Home.
Joseph was born Feb. 21, 1955 in Arcadia, Fla., the son of Ora Joseph and Violet (Cross) Lippincott. He attended Riverview High School in Sarasota, Florida. He also attended a truck driving school in Texas. He was united in marriage to Janice Busick on Dec. 23, 1976 at the Sedgwick County Court House. Joseph was an over the road truck driver working for Winn Dixie, Coleman and Universal. He loved to fish and collect eagles.
Survivors include his wife. Janice; children. Carisa Schiermeister and Jennifer and husband Ken Hoyt, all of Augusta, Michael Lippincott and Shawn and wife Margo Lippincott, all of El Dorado; sisters, Debbie Sanders, Thalyea Yoder and Linda Wells; brother, Richard Lippincott, all of Tuloahoma, Tenn.; grandchildren, Alyson Duffie, Kenlee Hoyt, Ayden Schiermeister, Lucas Myers, Korigan Hoyt, Spencer Ehrlich, Jana Hoyt and Damian Lippincott; six nieces; and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
