Bradley Dean Denney, 58, of Neodesha, Kan., passed away on Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012 in Wichita. Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, at Towanda Cemetery. Cremation will precede the service.
Brad was born on Sept. 6, 1954, in Neodesha, the son of Loren A. and Maida J. (Noel) Denney. He graduated high school from Circle High School in Towanda and got his Bachelor’s degree from Friends University in Wichita. He was an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in Neodesha. He also was a Registered Nurse and Fire Fighter.
He was united in marriage to Peggy Diane Smith on May 24, 1974 at Towanda Baptist Church. She preceded him in death on April 5, 2012 after 37 years of marriage. Brad was a member of Sycamore Volunteer Fire Department and enjoyed photography, fishing and working on computers.
He leaves his two daughters, Amber Marshall and April Denney, both of Independence; four grandchildren, A'Nessa Branscum, Gavin Denney, Hailey and Cody Marshall; his mother, Maida Denney; one sister, Tama Carroll, both of Towanda; one brother, Lawrence (Peggy) Denney of Ozawkie, Kan.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his father, and an uncle, Gary M. Noel.
