Santa’s helpers arrived shortly before him – a little elf and a little red coon puppy named Hudson. The jolly fellow was the capstone to the 2012 Stafford County Emergency Service annual dinner.

The evening started with some Poppy’s Pizza – forty large ones. It must’ve been tasty because by the end of the evening there were only a few left over. The crowd of over one hundred souls in attendance was mighty hungry.

A book chronicled the year through ten areas of operation. Different emergency responders and their children read each chapter. A slide show with a song followed the chapters.
