This past week Instagram disabled photo integration with Twitter. In the past you saw an instagram preview in the tweet but  now have to click the like to see the photo on Instagramís website.  BooÖ.HissÖ.  Instagram hasnít really said why they disabled the feature and didnít say if they will enabling that feature again.  My theory is that by forcing everyone to go to Instagramís website they will increase their hits which helps drive ad revenue.  More hits=more ads=more money.  Another factor that may have played a role is that Facebook purchased Instagram for 1 Million Dollars back in April and we all know how Facebook is shoving ads/sponsored posts down our throats (see theory 1).  Itís a vicious cycle of making money but in the end itís the user (both Instagram and Twitter) that gets screwed.
