Naomi Nadine Wilson, 75, of El Dorado, died Sunday, Dec. 9 at Kansas Medical Center in Andover. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Church of the Nazarene. Interment will follow in Sunset L awns Cemetery.
She was born on Feb. 12, 1937 in El Dorado, the daughter of Frank and Trilby Mae (Farthing) Dodson. She had received her GED certificate. Naomi was a homemaker. On Dec. 31, 1970, she and James Wilson were united in marriage in the First Church of the Nazarene. They enjoyed 41 years of marriage. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary; enjoyed bowling, camping, traveling; spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed family get-togethers and never met a stranger.
Those who survive including her husband James of the home include: her children, Vickie and Ken Biedsoe Parsons of Haysville, Davie Parsons of El Dorado, Staci Wilson and Steve (Ellsworth) of Augusta and Troy and Erin Wilson of Augusta; step-children, James Wilson and Holley Gilley of Plantation, Fla., and Sherry and Jerry Compton of El Dorado; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Glenn Dodson of El Dorado.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Earl and Harold; and a sister, Opal.
