In November, three groups hosted informational gatherings for SCARF.
Suzi Thien, SCARF director, was pleased to present to a gathering of 17 at Tom McKibban and Cathy Cooper’s on Nov. 2.
The group heard about plans for the Sunshine Children’s Home and learned about SCARF’s mission, all over hors d’oeuvres and socializing. Earlier that evening, Foulston Siefkin staff heard a similar message at Bonefish Grill in Wichita. Later in November, Thien joined an Augusta P.E.O. women’s group to discuss the need for SCARF and child abuse reporting issues.
“We are grateful for these times to socialize and spread the word,” she said.
