“Christmas Comes to Detroit Louie” is about a group of people waiting to see a doctor. Among them are Detroit Louie, the hard-hearted pickpocket; Harry, his dumb, but loyal right-hand-man; John and Cara who have just brought their father to be committed permanently to the adjoining nursing home; the Old Man who refuses to believe that his son would do such a thing; Mrs. Aiken, the hypochondriac; and the Blind Girl, who believes strongly in prayer and helping others. Also present is Angel No. 2, who is on probation and must make this mission count in order to get her wings back. She has permission to grant just one wish in this particular room and its a very hard decision. Once a decision is made, the entire room is affected.

A warm and humorous Christmas play!
