Kenneth Eugene Willhite, 55, of Rosalia, died Sunday, Nov. 18 at HCA Wesley Medical Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Carlson Funeral Home. Visitation with the family present will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, also at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow the services in Blankenship Cemetery, Rosalia.
He was born on Nov. 18, 1957 in El Dorado, the son of Lloyd and Mary Willhite. He graduated from Flinthills High School in 1975, and had attended college but did not receive a degree. He was a mechanic and worked for Hydro Chemical Services. He was a volunteer fireman in Rosalia starting in 1975; loved to work with anything with a motor. He loved sports and had played both basketball and ran track. He was a member of the 4-H Club while in High School. Kenneth enjoyed mud runs; riding in the sand dunes; motorcycles; dancing and collecting antiques.
He is survived by his sons, Kyle Willhite and Lueke and his wife Amber Willhite, and his mother, Mary, all of Rosalia.
He was preceded in death by his father Lloyd.
