Donations collected in Augusta will go to the Augusta Community Caring Center

From December 3 to December 8 Emprise Bank will hold a company-wide food drive in partnership with the Kansas Food Bank. Donations collected in Augusta will go to Augusta Community Caring Center.

Emprise invites the community to participate by bringing canned and dry food donations to any of Emprise’s three Augusta locations: 512 State St., 538 W. 7th St., or 1700 N. Ohio. Examples of items to bring include canned fruits and vegetables, juice, peanut butter, canned or bagged beans, bagged rice or pasta, soup, dry cereal and oatmeal, Bisquick, Hamburger Helper, and canned tuna, chicken, and ham.

In December 2011 Emprise employees across the state brought in 1,650 pounds of food during a week-long food drive. This year, with the help of the communities, Emprise hopes to see the amount of food collected grow dramatically.
