Donna Elizabeth Redwine, 73, of Augusta, passed away Wednesday, Nov.14, 2012 in Wichita.
Visitation 4-6 p.m. followed by Rosary at 6 p.m. Sunday, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Funeral Mass 10 a .m. Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at St. James Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Augusta.
Donna was born in Monon, Ind. on March 3, 1939, the 10th child to the late Martin Edward and Emma (Zable) McCormick. She was also preceded in death by brother, Tom McCormick; sisters, Francis McCormick and Mary Alice Altman.
On Aug. 1, 1959 she married John E. “Ed” Redwine in Francesville, Ind., and he survives her.
She is also survived by: son, John R. Redwine and wife Hollye of San Angelo, Texas; daughter, Jo Knox and husband Greg of Augusta; sisters, Lucille Miller (Ray) of Francesville, Ind., Patricia McKay (Herb) of Obetz, Ohio, and Charlotte Winner (Norm) of Gwinn, Mich.; brothers, Joe McCormick of LaCrosse, Ind., Glen McCormick (Chris) of South Chicago Hts. Ill., Bob McCormick (Marilyn) of Ratcliff, Ky., Carl McCormick (Phyllis) of Lockport, Ill., and Kenny McCormick (Barbara) of Francesville, Ind.; two granddaughters, Ashley Knox of Dallas and Rebecca Knox of Pratt.
Donna was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved crocheting, quilting, and reading. More than anything, she doted on her two precious granddaughters. She spent countless hours with them, playing games, teaching them to cook, and having fun. She was strong in her faith and loved her church.
