She’s the go to person for family and friends on how to get the thingy-a-bob to work or an opinion of the next great thing. Holan’s formal training includes a Bachelor’s in Technology with an emphasis in Graphic Design and a Masters in Technology. With an energetic spirit Holan knows how to turn techie speak into plain English, she’s hoping you’ll enjoy reading her experiences with technology.

Create it, ArtKive it, Enjoy it!  Yes, it’s that’s easy to archive your child’s artwork with the new apple app ArtKive.  Simply snap a picture of the app with the camera’s app or insert a picture already on your iPod, iPhone, or iPad, then tag the picture with the child’s name, grade, date, and title of the picture.  Once the artwork is uploaded, share with friends or have a book printed filled with your child’s artwork.  You can even make some cool gifts from the artwork catalog – think Christmas, Mother’s Day, or Father’s Day.

The app is a great way to catalogue any event.  I will probably use this to document my dog Jackson’s pet therapy visits in the local community.   Instead of a child’s name I have Jackson HAB visits.  Once you download the app, it’s takes just a few minutes to register and add your “children”.  Just an FYI, it’s a little slow on uploading to the photos so you might want to wait and upload the photos over a Wi-Fi connection.

Download the App for iPhone, iPod, and iPad.
