  • El Dorado Community Concert Assn. (ECCA) presents the second concert of the 2012-2013 season, international award-winning pianist Yana Reznik, at the El Dorado Middle School Auditorium at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 11.  Doors open at 3 p.m.
“Yana moved the audience to tears.” – Diana Cherryholmes, Huntington Arts Council.
Russian-born pianist Yana Reznik has made a particularly unique mark as a performer and distinguished civic leader.  Since her sold-out recital at Weill Recital Hall (Carnegie Hall, New York) in 2004, Reznik has continued to garner international attention in competition and on the concert stage. Appearances include the Disney Concert Hall (Los Angeles) and Lincoln Center (New York) with ensembles such as the Moscow Chamber Orchestra and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. She also pursues conducting opportunities; credits include conducting the complete Brandenburg Concertos for the harpsichord in Altenburg, Germany.
Yana believes everyone has the responsibility to positively affect society. In 2010, Yana created the 'Artistic Voyage' concert series, a visionary gathering of musicians and artists of all disciplines, to benefit humanitarian organizations around the world.
Reznik is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music and the University of Southern California, with continuing studies at Interlochen (Michigan) and the Rachmaninoff School of Music (Moscow).
ECCA has sponsored a student outreach performance for this artist on November 12, 2012, as part of their ongoing commitment to support arts education in El Dorado.
