Wauneta Rennaker, 86, of Pratt, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012 at Pratt Care Center in Pratt. She was born Sept. 18, 1926 in El Dorado, the daughter of Perry and Pansy (Hurt) Dunham. On March 8, 1941 she was married to Joseph F. Rennaker Jr. at El Dorado. He preceded her in death on Dec. 30, 2007.
Wauneta was a member of the American Legion Auxilary and a lifetime member of the VFW in Pratt. She had cooked at The Servateria for 18 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Karen Rhone and fiancé Roger Smith of Iuka, Kan.; three sons, Joseph III and wife Betty of Turon, Kan., Jim of Rush Springs, Okla., Bob of Pratt; a brother, Harold Dunham of Missouri; 18 grandchildren; four step grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 17 step great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a son, Bill; and three brothers, Bill, Ted and Forrest.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. till service time Friday at Larrison Mortuary 300 Country Club Rd., Pratt, KS 67124.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Larrison Mortuary, Pratt, with John Hamm presiding. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Pratt.
