Terry Wayne Wilson, 47, retired U.S. Postal Service employee, of Andover, passed away on Oct. 29, 2012, after a seven year battle with cancer.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31, at Heritage Funeral Home, 502 W. Central, Andover. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 1, at Faith Baptist Church, 417 W. Central, Andover. Interment will follow at Bruno Township Cemetery, Andover.
He was born in Independence, Kan. on Aug. 19, 1965 to Morris "Stub" and Judy (Hare) Wilson. Terry married Kim Reed in Andover. Terry worked for the Postal Service since 1988 and had been the Postmaster in Andover for 11 years. He was an all-around athlete and coach.
Terry is survived by: his wife, Kim; parents, Stub and Judy Wilson; children, Colton Levi Wilson, Colbie Leigh and Coby Levin Hanshaw, and Caleb Liam Wilson; brother, Marty Eugene Wilson; nephews, Matt and Trevor Wilson and many other family and friends.
