  • Terry Wayne Wilson, 47, of Andover, retired US Postal Service employee, passed away on Oct. 29 after a 7-year battle with cancer.

  • Terry Wayne Wilson, 47, of Andover, retired US Postal Service employee, passed away on Oct. 29 after a 7-year battle with cancer. He was born in Independence, Kan., on Aug. 19, 1965 to Morris "Stub" and Judy (Hare) Wilson. Terry was married to Kim Reed in Andover. Terry worked for the postal service since 1988 and had been the Postmaster in Andover for 11 years. He was an all-around athlete and coach. Terry is survived by his wife, Kim; parents, Stub and Judy Wilson; children, Colton Levi Wilson, Colbie Leigh and Coby Levin Hanshaw, and Caleb Liam Wilson; brother, Marty Eugene Wilson; nephews, Matt and Trevor Wilson; and many other family and friends. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Heritage Funeral Home, 502 W. Central, Andover. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Faith Baptist Church, 417 W. Central, Andover with interment to follow at Bruno Township Cemetery, Andover. Online register available at www.heritageofandover.com
