  • Warm and windy start to week

  • Warm temps for first part of week, then much cooler.

  • A roller coaster ride of temperatures is in store this week. Temperatures are forecast around 80 degrees today and near 85 degrees by Wednesday. In addition to the above normal temperatures, windy conditions are also forecast. Today, winds will be 11 to 17 mph with gusts to 26 mph. Only a slight decrease in wind is expected overnight. Tuesday will once again be windy with winds at 14 to 22 mph and gust to 30 mph. Tuesday night forecasters call for winds to decrease around 11 to 14 mph with gusts to 20 mph. Wednesday brings the highest wind speeds of the week. Southerly winds will whistle as 15 to 24 mph with gusts to 33 mph.
     
    Temperatures will begin a rather sharp fall after Wednesday. By Thursday, the high temperature will be in the upper 60s, near 50 degrees on Friday, and only expected to reach the upper 40s by Saturday. Thunderstorm chances are currently in the forecast Wednesday night through Friday.
