  • To the Community,

The Augusta Community Caring Center needs your help. Due to the lingering effect of the poor economy, the donations for food and money have continued to dwindle to the point that the Caring Center can no longer provide assistance with utilities or gasoline vouchers.
We are applying our remaining funds to purchase food supplies so that we can continue to provide food assistance to those in need in the Augusta area.
We are now approaching the holiday season and our goal is to provide Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for those in need. We are also planning to distribute toys for children ages 1 - 12, of families in need. However, our immediate needs are food items to provide a traditional holiday meal for families at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
    Items needed are:
    • A 10-12 lb. turkey
    • Stuffing mix
    • Instant potatoes
    • Canned pumpkin pie filling
    • Canned cranberry sauce
    • Canned fruit
    • Pie mix
    • Canned sweet potatoes
    • Canned milk
    • Canned vegetables; green beans and corn

All donations of any of the above items will be gratefully accepted.
The Caring Center exists due to the generosity of the people of the greater Augusta area.
    Thank you for your support,

    Evan Middleton
