While it will be cloudy and scattered rain storms will be around Saturday morning, the main threat will be lightning. If severe thunderstorms do materialize, at this time, the greatest risk will fall between 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Forecasters note hail golf ball size or larger, winds in excess of 70 mph, and a few tornadoes will be possible. The area at greatest risk has moved around some. Storms that do develop and move through will be moving at 40 to 50 mph possibly faster.
