Chelsea Chilcott, 19, of Derby, was crowned Miss Augusta 2013, and Ashley Ulmer, 23, of Whitewater, was crowned Miss Butler County 2013, at Saturday night's pageant held at the Augusta High School auditorium.
Larry Strong, director of the Miss Augusta/Miss Butler County Organization, along with Kevin Unrein and crew providing the state-of-the-art sound, lighting and video, produced a first class event.
Michael Karraker, the evening's host, helped the program move smoothly and easily through the different transitions.
Contestant Man Brin Marcotte was the winner of the talent competition with her beautiful vocal solo, "On My Own," from Les Miserables.
In Evening Gown competition, Ashley Ulmer and Kesley Phillips both tied for first place.
Chelsea Chilcott, the new Miss Augusta, performed her unique ventriloquism talent with two "friends" to the song "Cowboy's Sweetheart."
All of the young ladies wowed the audience with their wide range of talent and the pageant provided plenty of entertainment.
