  • The Grizzly Volleyball team travelled to Enid on Monday and defeated Northern Oklahoma-Enid in three games going 25-19, 25-23, 25-12.
    The Grizzlies Haleigh Lewis led the Butler attack with 11 kills, hitting .647, and 7 blocks.
    Jessi Green and Hannah Flaming added 6 kills each and a couple of blocks each.
    Hope Harsh had 16 assists and 2 aces while Kailan Kuzmic added 16 assists.
    Aimee Wood kept busy in the back row with 14 digs.
    On Wednesday the Lady Grizzlies hosted Labette.
    Butler needed only the minimum amount of games to dispatch Labette winning easily 25-12, 25-10, 25-15.
    It was a great game all the way around for the Grizzlies as they were able to get everyone in on the action.
    Hanna Flaming hit .400 with 7 kills, Raleigh Lewis hit .500 with 7 kills and 2 blocks, Hope Harsh had 21 assists and 12 digs.
    The victory was Butler head coach Rick Younger’s 200th win as a collegiate coach.
    The Lady Grizzlies travel again this weekend and are partcipating in the East Central Invitational starting on Friday and going through Saturday.
    Butler will return home this Monday to take on Northern Oklahoma Enid at 6 p.m.
