James W. Poulter, 66, passed away Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012 at his home in Latham. Celebration of his life will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Kirby-Morris Funeral Home.
James was born Sept. 9, 1946 in Ponca City, Okla., the son of Weslie and Zelma (Fritz) Poulter. He worked in the oil field all his life doing all kinds of jobs. He was united in marriage to Wanda Aikins June 29, 2012 in Latham. He was a mason with the Leon Joppa Mason’s.
Survivors include: wife, Wanda; sons, Wes of Leon, Robert of Olsberg, Kan., and David of Newton; daughter, Samantha Trubshaw of Pittsburg; sisters, Judy Lawrence of Leon and Gracie Walter of Gillette, Wyo.; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Christina.
