  • Graveside services for Joanne L. Rickerson, 84, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bella Vista Cemetery, 705 E. Sixth Ave., El Dorado. A resident of Branson, Mo., since 1978, she was born and raised in El Dorado. The family will greet friends following services on Wednesday in the Red Coach Banquet Room, 2529 W. Central Ave., in El Dorado.
    Mrs. Rickerson passed away Friday, Oct. 5, 2012 in Branson, Mo. Joanne L. Rickerson was born Dec. 14, 1927 in El Dorado, the daughter of E. Loren Miller and O. Fern (Hedges) Miller. She was united in marriage to Robert L. Rickerson, July 14, 1945 in El Dorado. They were married for 67 years. Joanne was a long time member and organist of the Temple Baptist Church in El Dorado. She was also a member of the Singing Sweet Adelaines.Mrs. Rickerson is survived by her spouse, Robert L. Rickerson; children and spouses, Rick (April) Rickerson of Bartlesville, Okla., Rea (Bill) Link of Branson, Mo., Randy Rickerson of Fulton, Kan., and Dana (Mike) Randolph of Towanda; 16 loving grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, E. Loren Miller (father) in 1962; O. Fern Miller (mother) in 1968; four brothers, Roland Miller, Robert Miller, John Miller and Bill Miller; and three sisters, Phyllis Locke, Helen Siegrist and Maxine Doan.
