The Love Augusta group is coming back together for another weekend this month.
If you really love something, you don't just do it once a year. That's why the Love Augusta group is coming back together for another weekend this month.
Pastor Steve Smith of the Augusta United Methodist Church said a group of volunteers will meet at the gazebo in near the Play Park at 9 a.m. on Oct. 27.
There are two things they still need; projects to do and money to help pay for materials. Donations can be made to the Caring Center designated specifically for the Love Augusta project. If you or someone you know needs some work done around the house, you can nominate them by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling the Methodist church office at 775-1116.
Projects will be completed based on funds available and the number of volunteers helping on our workday.
In the spring, volunteers built ramps to increase handicap access to a home, a new porch to make a home safer and cleaned up yards and cleared debris all over town.
Don't miss this chance to get the help you need around the house or volunteer your services to help someone else who needs it.
