Gordy Square and Heritage House held their annual National Night Out activities Tuesday evening with a Renaissance Fair theme this year.
To start the festivities each property crowned a king and queen, with the the winners being Paul Wilkins and Thelma Lowderman from Heritage House and Mary Luck and Jim Briscoe from Gordy Square.
Following a meal of finger foods, there was scooter/wheelchair jousting in the street.
Representatives from the El Dorado Fire Department also were on hand to visit with the residents, as was Sheriff Kelly Herzet.
There also were tattoos for the kids and paper hats they could make.
