  • Dear Editor,
Harry Hynes Hospice was called to comfort our mother/grandmother the month of May 2012 until her death Friday, Sept. 21, 2012. All we have to say is that Sabrina, our nurse, was amazing, thoughtful, caring, and dedicated. If we as a family had a question or concern she answered it in a timely manner, usually within 10 minutes of making the call.
Our family had a chance to go on a once-in-a-lifetime family cruise and Sabrina and Amy checked on mom/grandma and her caregiver twice daily while we were gone. She was well taken care of and we enjoyed a great family trip.
Mom/grandma died peacefully at home in her sleep on Friday morning with family and her dogs at her side. Sabrina showed up right after we called her even though it was before business hours.
We as a family want to thank Harry Hynes Hospice for the great care of our beloved. Roger is an amazing Chaplain and man of God who lifted Grandma's spirits when she needed it most. On the day before she passed, Roger sang hymn after hymn further comforting her. Roger's spiritual guidance helped the family cope during a trying time. Once again, we want to thank Harry Hynes Hospice for their Compassion and Faith. They were an awesome support and were there when we needed them.
