  • The Remington High School Lady Broncos Volleyball team traveled to participated in the Douglass Invitational Tournament on Saturday.
    Remington opened up play against host Douglass and came away with a three set win going 20-25, 25-19, 25-22.
    Emma Hilgenfeld was 19/19 serving and had 17 good attacks with 8 kills and 6 stuff blocks. Deanna Ingalsbe had 14 total blocks and 8 good attacks with 3 kills.
    Rose Dollarhide had 21 good sets with 6 assists. Kristyn Wedel had 12 good attacks with 1 kill.
    Megan McNeill had 3 good attacks with 1 kill. Kylee Schunn had 20 good passes and 3 good attacks.
    Jasmine Ingalsbe served 13/14 for the match.
    Remington then squared off with El Dorado and needed only two games to grab a victory 25-13 and 25-19.
    Jasmine Ingalsbe served 12/12 with 2 aces. Emma Hilgenfeld served 16/16 and had 6 kills.
    Kristyn Wedel had 9 good attacks with 7 being kills. Madison Janzen had 9 good attacks and 13 assists.
    Nicole Minder had 7 good attacks with 2 kills and served perfect with 8.
    The Broncos continued their winning ways against Garden Plain winning 19-25, 25-20 and 25-21.
    Nicole Minder was 17/17 serving with 2 aces. Jasmine Ingalsbe and Rose Dollarhide served perfect for the match with 13.
    Madison Janzen had 18 good attacks with 6 being kills and 8 total blocks. Emma Hilgenfeld had 11 good attacks with 4 being kills and 16 total blocks.
    Kylee Schunn had 31 good passes and 3 good attacks and 8/8 serving. Deanna Ingalsbe had 23 total blocks.
    Remington handled Conway Springs going 25-8 and 25-15.
    Madison Janzen was 17/18 serving with 5 aces and 9 assists. Nicole Minder was 10/10 serving with 2 aces and 13 good attacks with 3 kills.
    Emma Hilgenfeld had 9 good attacks with 7 being kills. Kristyn Wedel had 4 good attacks and 6 total blocks. Deanna Ingalsbe had 11 total blocks with 5 stuffs.
    Remington took on Wichita Trinity and was beaten in two games 20-25 and 16-25.
    Jasmine Ingalsbe served 7/7 and had 7 good passes. Emma Hilgenfeld had 12 good attacks with 7 kills.
    Nicole Minder had 16 good passes and 8 good attacks. Madison Janzen had 10 good attacks with 5 kills and 10 assists.
    Rose Dollarhide had 18 good sets with 6 assists. Kylee Schunn had 21 good passes and 2 kills.
    The Broncos bounced back against Bluestem winning 25-10 and 25-10.
    Madison Janzen served 19/20 and had 11 assists. Jasmine Ingalsbe served 12/12 for the match.
    Kylee Schunn served 5/5 with 2 aces. Emma Hilgenfeld had 13 good attacks with 8 kills.
    Kristyn Wedel had 9 good attacks with 4 kills.
    Remington went 5-1 for the day.
    Emma Hilgenfeld, Madison Janzen, and Kylee Schunn were named to the All-Tournament Team.
    Remington is now 16-8 overall.
