  • Dr. Mitsch recently traveled to Phoenix, Arizona to participate in a day long Mini Dental Implant Training Course. The course was taught by leading experts in the world of mini dental implants and sponsored by one of the world’s oldest innovators in dental implant technology, Park Dental Research.
The course trained dentists on the minimally-invasive approach to placing mini dental implants.  Drs. Paul Mullasseril, Joseph Gillespie, and Ronald Bulard guided the attendees through successful case selection and treatment planning techniques, responsible placement protocols and restorative options for replacing teeth in just one short visit.   Case studies focused upon how to stabilize loose dentures.
Use of mini dental implants is becoming increasingly popular because they are less invasive and thus less expensive than traditional implant treatments.  Under qualifying conditions, the mini dental implant patient can receive treatment in one day rather than during multiple visits extending out over many months.
Dr. Mitsch can now offer mini dental implants to patients with this new technique that is minimally invasive, less costly and time-efficient.  In most cases, patients can receive the treatment in one short visit, go out and eat a meal.
