  • Both 8th grade volleyball teams came away with wins against Circle.
    The B team had success winning the match in two sets, 25-9 and 25-11.
    Alexis Garcia and Abigail Connor led the team, scoring 11 points each on serves.
    They were followed by Hannah Doolittle who had four of her own. Daria Carter made the single kill for the B team on the night.
    The A team match was close in all three sets but the Cats came away with the win going 21-25, 25-22, and 17-15.
    "Focus and determination drove the A team to their victory against Circle," said coach Tara Triplett.
    Kylea McArdle showed a dominate presence from behind the line and scored 20 points on serves.
    She was followed by Braylon Daniels who scored 7 of her own. Daniels also led in set assists, followed by Colbi Phillips. All players had at least one kill for the evening.
    The 7th grade A team won in three games with scores of 25-15, 12-25, and 15-11.
    Katlyn Sparks led scoring with 11 points off of serves.
    The B team won in three games with scores of 21-25, 25-14, and 15-10. Allyson Skillman led all scoring with 12 points off of serves.
