As an organization that works with the medically fragile and intellectually disabled, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to Butler County EMS for providing the opportunity to participate in the EmergencyLink program.
We currently serve over 100 folks that are living, working and traveling in and around our county. The possibility that any one of these people will need emergency medical assistance is proportionately higher than for the average citizen.
We are very grateful that Butler County EMS provided the means to have all of the medical information as well as emergency contact information available through a simple process of registration. Even better, this service is free!
Thank you, Butler County EMS, for taking the initiative to find such a simple, yet necessary means of adding to the safety level for not only vulnerable population members, but anyone who may want vital information quickly available to the emergency response system.
The citizens of Butler County have always had good reason to be proud of the hard work done by our EMS providers, but we should be especially proud that they are constantly looking for new and innovative ways to mitigate possible health issues.
