The annual Yesteryear Fair sponsored by the Augusta Historical Society has become a community fall favorite. It will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29 and just getting started following the downtown Homecoming Parade. Step back in time and watch master wood carvers, soap making, sewing and blacksmithing. Tour the historic C.N. James Trading Post, Augusta's first building located at its original site. Listen to acoustic music and don't miss the delicious homemade lunch. Other activities include horse and buggy rides, rope making and old fashion games.
