Mark your calendars! The first annual Cemetery Tour of Augusta’s Elmwood Cemetery will be held on Saturday, Oct. 13. There will be two tours, one at 2 p.m. and one at 4 p.m.
Augusta Historical Museum Director Rachelle Meinecke will be the tour guide, visiting the final resting place of Augusta’s first settlers, celebrities and scoundrels.
Vince Mitchell will be demonstrating and teaching the art of grave dowsing.
Tickets are required and may be purchased now at the Augusta Historical Museum, 303 State St. and Cooper Drug, 509 State St. Tickets are $7 and space is limited.
