  • Wildcats drop Winfield, fall to T-Birds in three games

  • The Lady Wildcats were on the court visiting rival Circle Thunderbirds who played host to the Wildcats and Winfield Vikings.
    El Dorado opened up against Winfield with a straight set victory winning 25-11 and 25-14.
    El Dorado jumped out on a 7-1 lead on Winfield before a timeout was called.
    The Lady Wildcats then went on a 4-0 run. El Dorado finished the game on a 10-3 run to win 25-11 game one. In the second game, both squads battled early, before the Wildcats gained an 8 point advantage at 16-8 then went on to finish the game 25-14.
    The Wildcats received solid service from Logan Morrow, Kaleigh Parscal and Baylie Harsh in the victory.
    El Dorado then squared off with host Circle in their second match of the night.
    El Dorado opened up solidly earning a 3-0 lead.
    The Wildcats  maintained their lead throughout the first game and earned a 25-22 victory.
    Both teams battled throughout the  second game but the Wildcats were unable to overcome an early deficit and fell 25-20 sending the match to a third game.
    Circle sprinted to a 6-2 lead over  El Dorado to begin the game and the T-Birds never looked back. Circle maintained a 5-6 point lead throughout the game and won  25-16.
    The Lady Wildcats will play again  next Tuesday when they host Mulvane and Winfield.
