Pearl M. Thomas, 75, El Dorado, died Friday, September 7 at her home. Graveside services will be 10:30 AM, Wednesday, September 12 at Sunset Lawns Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 PM Carlson Funeral Home.
Pearl was born on April 16, 1937 in Columbus, Kansas the daughter of Harley Buster and Vennette (Hall) Guy. She attended and graduated from Leon High School. She attended WSU for 1 year. Pearl was a CMA and had worked in Care homes. She was a member of Naomi Chapter #56, Rebekah Lodge. She enjoyed fishing and reading and loved spending time with her family.
On September 26, 1956 she and Donald Thomas were united in marriage at the Baptist Church in Leon.
Those who survive including her husband of the home are children Annette Smith and husband John T., El Dorado; Dawn Bidwell and husband Kirk, Augusta; Susan Pottorff, Wellington; sisters and their husbands Phyllis and Jack Crissup, Leon; Carm and Gib Davis, El Dorado;; brother and wife Harley and Marjorie Guy, Towanda; 10 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son Bubba; her parents and a sister Charlene.
