Helen Caroline Edwards, 85, of El Dorado, retired cook for the Moose Lodge, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 28 at her home surrounded by her family.
Helen Caroline Edwards, 85, of El Dorado, retired cook for the Moose Lodge, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 28 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on Feb. 17, 1927 in Nail, Ark., to Charles and Lois “Neal” Brosher. Helen is survived by her children, Larry (Cindy) Boynton of Rose Hill and Randy (Angela) Cundell of Winfield; siblings, Marietta White of Towanda, Donna Kay Larson, and Sue Simmons and Jerry Daniels both of Harrison, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and other family and friends including her best friend George Castillo. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Frank Boynton, Andrew “Buck” Cundell and John Edwards; sons, Bobby Frank and Richard Dean Boynton; and daughter, Lesa Ann Cundell. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Heritage Funeral Home, 120 N. Main, El Dorado. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sunset Lawns Cemetery on Haverhill Rd., El Dorado. Memorials may be made to the family of Helen Edwards.
